Dyefixing agents
Once fabric is dyed, there are instances of unfixed dyestuff on the surface. It is critical that
fixing agent is applied to dyed fabric to fix the unfixed dyestuff on fabric. This prevents colour
migration when fabric is wet or during washing. A good quality dye fixing agent fixes the loose
dyes and improves wet colour fastness and fabric quality.
Aura ADF range includes polyamine-based formaldehyde free dye fixing agents. The fixing
agents are suitable for woven and knit fabrics (reactive, direct dyed and printed fabrics). They
not only improve washing fastness, particularly staining on multifibre but also improve
fastness to perspiration and fastness to water contact. They show minimum effect on light
fastness and on the shade of the treated material. Fixing agents can be applied by exhaust as
well as pad application. They give excellent fastness results for dark shades

Soaping agents
Aura SG range of soaping agents are concentrated polymeric compound which work as a
dyebath conditioner and washing off agent. Some reactive dyes have low solubility in
presence of salt and alkali, or when liquor ratio is low, there could be precipitation of dyes
during the dyeing, leading to poor colour yield and staining of substrate. Calcium Iron and
other metal ion impurities in the dyebath could also lead to precipitation of dyes. With its
dispersing and chelating action, SG range prevents such precipitation and also helps in easy
removal of hydrolysed reactive dyes at the end of dyeing operation.

Acid Buffer
Aura CPH is a specially developed acid buffer used in dyeing and printing of polyester and its
blends. It can be used for batch and continuous process. Addition of Aura CPH in print paste
prevents speckiness. Aura CPH does not damage viscose or cotton. It maintains pH during
dyeing and printing of disperse dyes without affecting the tear strength. It provides better
control over process conditions ensuring excellent results

Levelling agent
Aura RDL is a is a versatile dispersing, levelling and emulsifying agent. It keeps insoluble dye
particles in fine dispersion and prevents redeposition on the substrate. It is useful in dyeing of
disperse dyes, acetate dyes, acid dyes, chrome dyes and naphthol dyeing. RDL improves the
solubility of reactive dyes under adverse conditions of dyeing such as low liquor ratio, poor
quality of salt, hardness in water, poor solubility of dyestuff. Use of urea can be eliminated by
addition of RDL, hence BOD values of the effluent can be reduced significantly. Apart from
improving the solubility of reactive dyes, it also eliminates mineral impurities from the fiber.
RDL also act as a dyebath conditioner and leveling agent particularly for package dyeing. Aura
RDL is compatible with anionic, cationic and non-ionic products and stable to dilute acids and
alkalis.

Defoamer
A defoamer or an anti-foaming agent is a chemical additive that reduces and hinders the
formation of foam in industrial process liquids. The terms anti-foam agent and defoamer are
often used interchangeably. Strictly speaking, defoamers eliminate existing foam and anti-
foamers prevent the formation of further foam. Aura DF is an
anti-foamer with excellent performance for better control on process conditions
