consumers seek good performance in fabrics in terms of colour depth, brightness fastness,
appearance, shrinkage, touch and feel… Pre-treatment of fabric involves removal of size, oils,
wax, grease and impurities to make the fabric ready for further processes. A fabric properly
pre-treated with good quality chemicals enables good colour pickup, uniformity and
reproduction, optimises use of additives, colours, chemicals, water and energy consumption.
